One thing i have learnt from clients about domain names is they either try get their company name, something recognisable and similar to their business name or they go fully for the search engines because they have read somewhere that this will get you on the front page of Google. If you do choose a domain name with search terms in mind this will help your site to a point, but if your site content is basic and not full of search term content, your brilliant domain name is useless. With all Search Engine Optimisation there is a number of things which play into search engines and if you get the basics right your site will be found fine, without having to have a domain name which is aimed purely at search terms.
Choosing a domain name that is recognisable and reflects your company or brand name, in my opinion is much better than some search term domain.
